In the green park called Alsos in front of the houses , there are several good quality tavernas and restaurants (e.g. Mesogios, Ektoras, Theotokis, Dimitris, Avli and many more). As you exit the houses, on your right there’s a seaside bar-restaurant called Anemomilos.
In the center of the old town you may try good greek and italian cuisine in the area around Guilford Street. The map shows some of the restaurants that ,in our opinion, offer good quality dishes.

In front of the CTLS studios there is a greek/fish taverna called “Φεγγαροπετρα” where you may try a greek “meze” with ouzo and fresh fish dishes until late at night.
Opposite the studios there is the cafe “Naftilos” right beside the sea where you may enjoy a nice cofee , have breakfast etc. Also on your right by the sea, you’ll find the restaurant-bar Anemomilos .
Super Deal 400m

The nearest to the house minimarket is at your left as you exit the house , towards the Old Town, at 400 m. It is called “Super Deal”.
A bigger super market called Dimitra Market can be found in Saroco, were the bus stops on its way to the Old Town. If you have a car you will find big super markets a few kilometers outside the city towards the North (Solari area) or the South (airport).
To go to the center of the Old Town (the main square and the Liston) you have to walk for 1.5 km (15 min) along the sea pavement towards the Old Fortress. If you do not want to walk you may get the bus that stops right outside the apartment every 20 min. You buy the tickets from the driver.
When you return from the old Town to the apartment you must get off at the bus stop near Avli restaurant (next to the Super Deal MiniMarket) or at the next stop right in front of the Mon Repo gate (at Vasili bus stop) and walk towards your left for 500 m. From this bus stop (Mon Repo gate) you may take the bus to go to the Kanoni . The itenaries of the blue buses can be found here : http://www.astikoktelkerkyras.gr
There are some blue Buses that go from the Saroco square to Dasia , Ipsos , Benitses , Pelekas and some other destinations (beaches) not far from Corfu Town . You may go to the Saroco square on foot or by the bus that stops right in front of the house. The itenaries of the blue buses can be found here : http://www.astikoktelkerkyras.gr
The green buses central station is at walking distance , near the Lidl supermarket, about 2 km from the house (25 min walk). You may also go to the station by getting on the blue bus that passes in front of the house and getting off at the Saroco square. From there you ‘ll have to walk a distance of 1 km. This is the green buses site.
